About Modelling Market in Poland

What is the Modelling Market in Poland?

Modelling Market in Poland is an English language offspring of the Polish web modelling magazine Plastikowe.pl, established in 2004. Modelling Market in Poland was established in 2009 and is the only complete independent source of information about Polish modelling industry (we are aware of).
Both are private held web magazines, established and run by the Mikołajski Internet Development company based in Olsztyn, Poland.

Modelling Market in Poland Mission

Our mission is to inform and educate modellers around the world about history of Poland and about Polish modelling and publishing industry. In order to fulfill this mission we represent Poland and want to bring Poland to the world and the world to Poland.

Sounds exalted? Maybe, but still far too many people think that Poland was one of several ex-Soviet Republics, gained its independence in early ’90s and there are a lot of snow and white bears1. In fact Poland has a much longer, interesting and complicated history than most of foreigners can imagine. We’ll try to show that Polish military history has a lot of close connections to American, Canadian and Australian ones, to mention just a few countries.

Why an Online Magazine?

It’s simple — cost effectiveness and easiness of distribution. It’s not possible to:

  • deliver paper magazine to every hobby shop in the world,
  • publish paper magazine fast enough to keep news fresh and tasty,
  • attach several dozens of photos to the single article in paper magazine.

All weak points of paper magazines don’t affect our magazine. You may read it everywhere, articles and news are delivered every day and we are not afraid to publish articles with over hundred high quality photos.
